| Wind Chimes and Hanging Bells in Feng Shui How are they Different? Free Feng Shui Tips |

| Wind Chimes and Hanging Bells are both very common Feng Shui Cures. In some situations they are interchangeable, but there are differences between their properties and uses. Wind Chimes that are most commonly used as Feng Shui cures have hollow metal rods. When the rods are hollow, the positive energy (Chi) is able to enter the rods through the bottom of the rods and travel up. This is how the Wind Chime helps lift the energy up. Wind Chimes also slow down fast moving negative energy. So Wind Chimes can be used inside or outside the home or workplace to slow down energy that is too fast. Sources of fast moving energy include straight paths, being at the end of a T-junction, and being at the end of a long corridor. Hanging Bells can be used to clear negative energy from a space and replace that energy with positive energy. Every time the Hanging Bell is rung, it clears out the negativity and calls in good, fresh energy. You can hang them outside your home by the door, to call positive energy into your home. Or you can hang them on the inside of the doorway to clear the energy at the front door and call in the positive energy through the front door. Hanging Bells are also protective, so Hanging Bells will protect your home and family or workplace and business from harm. Wind Chimes and Hanging Bells do have some properties and uses in common. Both Wind Chimes and Hanging Bells can stimulate and break up slow or stagnant energy. So if you have a room that you do not use very often (like a guest bedroom, or a formal dining room) or if there is a corner of a room that no one ever goes to, the energy in that space can feel strange compared to the normally warm and cheery energy of the rest of your home. Hanging either Wind Chimes or Hanging Bells in the stagnant space and ringing them occasionally (especially before someone will be using the guest bedroom and before you will be using the formal dining room) will help diminish the stagnant energy and stimulate the positive energy. If Wind Chimes and Hanging Bells are ignored do they make a sound? When they are outside in the wind, both will often ring on a windy day. But when they are inside your home, they both need your help to do their job. Ring your Wind Chimes and Hanging Bells whenever you pass them by in your home. Being actively involved in the Feng Shui Cure always increases its power, plus you get to hear the lovely sound! |
